Vacuum specialist Leybold has unveiled its new dry rough vacuum CLAWVAC pump.
Launched today, the new pump is suitable for food processing, packaging and environmental applications, as well as drying and sterilisation processes.
The pump is specially designed for continuous operation at every working pressure. Its special design avoids oil that comes into contact with pumped gases, allowing higher oxygen applications.
Commenting on the product launch, Niels Gorrebeeck, Project Manager at Leybold, said, “The robust, long-life pumps operate in an intelligent controlled dry and air-cooled solution. On top of that, CLAWVAC System only delivers the required vacuum.”

The design allows the user to disassemble and clean the class quickly and easily as the rotors can be removed without having to readjust the synchronisation.
