The Chinese National Standard named as GB/T 18442-2019 for "Stationed Vacuum Adiabatic Cryogenic Pressure Vessel" has been promulgated on December 31, 2019, and has been implemented since the date of promulgation. The standard is divided into seven parts:
-part 1: general requirements;
-part 2: materials;
-part 3: design;
-part 4: manufacturing;
-part 5: inspection and testing;
-part 6: safety protection;
Part 7: technical regulations for strain strengthening of inner containers.
The first six parts were promulgated for the first time in 2011, part 7 was newly added in 2017, and this revision is the 2011 edition.
GB/T 18442.6 "Safety Protection" is the regulation on the installation of safety release device for stationed vacuum adiabatic cryogenic pressure vessels, which is revised and compiled by Shanghai Huali Safety Equipment Co., Ltd. This paper makes a comparative analysis of the new and old versions of Part 6 of the standard in order to help engineers understand the relevant contents.
