Hyundai has delivered its first NEXO fuel cell SUV delivery in Northern California to Dr Steven Vo.
Vo is the first Northern California customer to drive the new NEXO, the only mass-produced fuel cell SUV for the US market, boasting up to 380 miles.
NEXO is the new technological flagship of Hyundai’s growing eco-vehicle portfolio and marks Hyundai’s commitment and momentum with the industry’s most diverse SUV line-up.
The NEXO can be refuelled in as little as five minutes, allowing a consumer lifestyle very similar to a gasoline-powered SUV in terms of both range and refuelling speed.
The blue model has an estimated range of 380 compared to the limited version of the car which has an estimated range of 254 miles.
The Hyundai NEXO was recently named a winner of the Wards’10Best Engine aware, further highlighting its position as a high-tech and user-friendly vehicle.
The NEXO can be leased for $399 (blue model) or $449 (limited model) for 36 months and can be purchased for $58,300.
