Linde has started up a new plant in Muar, Malaysia, to supply high purity gaseous nitrogen.
Valued at RM28 million ($7m), the facility will primarily support increased demand from STMicroelectronics, a global semiconductor manufacturer.
Commenting on the development, Vinod Patwari, President ASEAN, Linde, said, “Linde has long-standing associations with STMicroelectronics for over 30 years, and I am proud to see our cooperation grow from strength to strength with this latest start-up.”

Built with state-of-the-art technology, the ECOGAN5 is highly energy efficient, cost-effective and reliable, delivering a continuous stream of gases nitrogen.
