Three more hydrogen (H2) stations are officially open for business in California.

Located in the greater Sacramento area (Citrus Heights), Silicon Valley (Palo Alto) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the additional three stations now brings the total number of stations in California to 39.

The Citrus Heights station (#37), developed by Shell, is one of a few that has two fuelling positions at H70. Many stations built before #37 have two nozzles, one dispensing at H70 and the other at H35.

With the two nozzles at H70, two cars will be able to fuel simultaneously and increase the number of vehicles served in a shorter time.

The Palo Alto station (#38), developed by Air Liquide, joins ten retail hydrogen stations currently open to support fuel cell electric car drivers in the greater San Francisco Bay rea. Ten more hydrogen stations are in development in the region.

The LAX station (#39), developed by Air Liquide, is part of a key early adopter area along the Los Angeles County coastline.
